Maple Cream Fudge
Submitted by: Trisina Hamilton
I have been making this recipe for years using home made maple syrup. It makes a huge difference and is a great crowd pleaser in the winter season, especially around Christmas!
Ingredients
- 1 cup White Meadows Maple Syrup Amber Grade
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1/2 cup whole cream
- 2 tbsp nonsalted butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
Directions
Put sugar, syrup, and cream in a pan. Boil on med-high, stirring occasionally, make sure to prevent sticking at bottom of pan. Let cool. Add salt, vanilla and butter - beat until creamy and fudge holds its shape. Put into pan lined with foil folding over the edges and cut into squares. Cool in fridge. Enjoy!
Mix 1 part maple syrup with 2 parts melted white chocolate for an optional drizzle.
