Maple Glazed Ribs
Submitted by: Shelley Bourdeau
Most people use maple syrup in baking. In this recipe I use it for cooking with. It is delicious for those with a sweet tooth and my family loves them.
Ingredients
- 1 package pork ribs
- 1 to 1 1/2 cups White Meadows Maple Syrup Amber Grade
- 2 Tbsp of brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp of ketchup
- 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp mustard
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Boil a large pot of water and then place in ribs that have been cut up. Cover and simmer until ribs are browned. Drain and set aside.
In a casserole dish, mix the remaining ingredients to make a sauce. Place ribs into dish and spread the sauce all over the ribs. Bake at 250 degrees for 2 hours. Keep spreading the sauce over the ribs every 1/2 hour.
These are nice and sweet and even taste better the next day. If any sauce remains, it is tasty served over a bed of rice.
